Aleksander Accell Litvinenko has left Quest Esports after finishing 4th at The Bali Major 2023. Recall that Quest had to reach the Grand Final of the Major on Bali to qualify for The International 12 on DPC points.

An official statement from the Quest Esports organization said:

"After careful consideration and evaluation, we have decided to part ways with our coach Accell. His experience and guidance has played a large role in the growth and success of our team. Under Accell's leadership we have made significant strides and memorable victories, we are grateful for his contributions to the growth and success of our roster."

Accell noted that this news came as a surprise to him and added that he is not happy with his performance at The Bali Major 2023:

"It's a surprise to me as well. It was a team decision that I would like to keep behind the scenes. I can say for myself that I am not happy with my performance at the major, I definitely could have done a lot more. This is my first LAN tournament and I made some pretty significant mistakes. At least it's experience, and I'll definitely take it into account in the future. I have no hard feelings towards the players or management. I am very grateful to them for everything - I respect every player immensely and think they are cool, the organization is also very good. I wish them victories in the future, they are definitely capable of it and deserve it! It's a shame not to finish the season, but I can only blame myself and take the whole situation as an experience.

Quest will take part in the regional qualifiers for The International 12 for the teams from Western Europe, which will be held from 27 to 31 August. The top two teams from the region will play at the main Dota 2 tournament.
