“This tournament is a competition between those who are better at [cheating]” — NS revealed the whole truth about BB Streamers Battle
Streamer Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov described in detail the reasons for refusing to participate in BB Streamers Battle 12. The main factors were significant manipulation of the declared ratings of participants and the organizers' disregard for this issue.
"This tournament is a competition between those who are better at [cheating] <...> They even suggested that we, roughly speaking, [cheat] too — meaning, change our lineup, find some grinders with lower MMR. We refused, because we just wanted to play normally. And they tell us: ‘Everyone here is [cheating].’ So we just left..."
To support the accusation of rating manipulation, NS provided several examples. Yaroslav analyzed the roster of Team Travoman in the most detail, in which several participants are listed as having several thousand MMR less than they actually have. One of the most striking examples is a clip featuring Team Travoman carry Vladimir chechigga Skarenko. The streamer forgot to log out of his account, which is in the top-2000 of the European ladder (about 10,500 MMR), when he entered the tournament lobby. In the show tournament, chechigga is listed as a player with 6120 MMR.
“After that, people rightly got outraged. And chechigga himself said that this wasn’t his account, that it belonged to ILTW, and he only borrowed it for practice.”
The event organizers also quickly responded to the community's outrage, stating that chechigga indeed used a high-MMR account, but only for training purposes, which didn’t violate tournament rules.
"Well, *** if you use a 10,000 MMR account for practice, you play on it — meaning you have 10,000 MMR. Miposhka can now register a 5000 MMR account and play on it, and when asked about his 15,000 MMR account he’ll say: ‘Well, I just… have it… I sometimes use it, exclusively for practice.’ That’s basically what’s written here."
Kuznetsov then presented a table showing all the declared ratings of participants in Dota 2 show tournaments. Among the participants of Team Travoman, only Alexander Immersion Khmelevsky's rating remains relatively unchanged (with a variation of a few hundred MMR). The team's offlaner, Maxim Re1bl Afanasyev, had a declared rating of 14,200 MMR at FONBET MEDIA ELEAGUE S3, while at BB Streamers Battle 12 he is listed as a player with 13,200 MMR.
"Let’s assume that’s within acceptable limits, but honestly, it’s strange. We all know MMR inflates in Dota — if you play a lot, it tends to go up a bit. Whatever… But then we get to fruktozka. She’s registered with 5500 MMR for this tournament. But here’s the weird part: at BB Streamers Battle 9 she had 8500 MMR, then 8300, then 6500, and now 5500. I get it — losing streaks, whatever — but it doesn’t work like that unless you do it intentionally."
It should be noted that before BB Streamers Battle 12, there was a prolonged losing streak on the fruktozka`s account. Shortly before the announcement of the lineups for the show tournament, the streamer shared a screenshot of her Dota 2 profile on her Telegram channel, showing that her account had 5499 MMR, and stated that she had been boosted earlier and that this is her real rating.
NS summed up that re1bl, fruktozka, and chechigga actually have a combined rating that is almost 10,000 MMR higher than what is stated in the competition. According to the rules for forming teams at BetBoom Streamers Battle 12, the total MMR in a team must not exceed 48,000 MMR.
"And then there's TpaBoMaH. I'm not going to say that he's 15k or anything like that... His rating is always some kind of mystery. He played in all these tournaments, and here it's quite interesting to just watch and see how much they (the tournament organizers — ed.) [don't care]. They can write any rating they want: need 5500 — it’s 5500; need 7600 — it’s 7600."
As a comparison, NS cited videos from Timur TpaBoMaH Khafizov's YouTube channel. A few years ago, the content creator played on an account from the top-100 of the European ladder and often encountered pro players and beat them.
"And there are a million videos like that on his channel. I understand that those were the days when he bought these accounts and only played Techies. Nevertheless, you see Techies level 26 (Dota Plus — ed.). This means that he played a [huge] number of games on this account. So, just like chechigga, he was ‘practicing at a slightly higher rating’."
In conclusion, Yaroslav explained why he decided to examine the situation at BB Streamers Battle in such detail. The group chat with the participants of the NS team and the tournament organizers was deleted after the incident with chechigga, without any comments.
“And then they introduced a rule, as in all tournaments, of a 5-minute delay on top of the delay on Dota TV. And this is actually a personal sanction against me, because no one else streams it except me.
<...> Anyone who participates in the next seasons — if everything happens the same way, if the same admins are there — will be completely shamed.”
BB Streamers Battle 12 took place from 20.11.2025 to 30.11.2025. Twelve teams competed for a prize pool of $55,562. The winner of the championship was By_Owl Team, defeating Team Rostik in the grand final. Team Travoman took 3rd place.
As CyberScore reported earlier, NS commented on the Team Spirit player.
