NS on NAVI: “The main roster are burnouts. The juniors look solid”
Analyst Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov commented on NAVI’s decision to disband their main Dota 2 roster and replace it with the NAVI Junior roster. According to him, the former squad was weak, while the young players have already proven their competitiveness.
The main NAVI roster were burnouts — battered individuals with no motivation. But the juniors are playing solid Dota and qualified for The International 2025. Nothing surprising.
On June 17, the organization announced that the current lineup will be disbanded after PGL Wallachia Season 5 and starting July 1, NAVI Junior will become the new core roster.
The youth squad has already qualified for both The International 2025 and Riyadh Masters 2025. Midlaner Artem Niku Bachkur is set to become the second-youngest player in The International's history. This will mark NAVI’s first TI appearance since 2019.
