No[o]ne named meta mid heroes in patch 7.39c

PARIVISION’s midlaner Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko shared his view on the current midlane meta in Dota 2. According to him, patch 7.39c has created a narrow pool of heroes capable of dominating the lane. Minenko noted that these particular heroes are best suited to the current balance:

Queen of Pain and Shadow Fiend are very strong right now. Monkey King is also a very strong hero, actually. But I think he’s not for pubs, only for the pro scene. In pubs, he’s complete trash.

Notably, out of this trio, Monkey King had the highest win rate at Riyadh Masters 2025 – 62.5% across 24 matches, while Shadow Fiend and Queen of Pain each had a 50% win rate in 25 games.

PARIVISION placed 3rd at Riyadh Masters 2025 and will start their title chase tomorrow at the Chinese event Clavision Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi. The tournament will feature 10 teams and a prize pool of $700,000.
