No crowd sound will be heard at The International 2024 - new rules for broadcasting the tournament
Commentator Vladimir Maelstorm Kuzminov discussed the new casting rules for The International 2024. The main changes: the tournament will only feature English-speaking commentators who will work remotely.

Maelstorm also highlighted a few more points: due to the remote work of the studio, it will not be possible to invite players, coaches, or managers, which will significantly affect the broadcast statistics and the tournament atmosphere. What will further impact the event's feel is that, due to the same remote work, the sound of the crowd in the hall will not be transmitted in the broadcasts. However, Valve has left the possibility to send a reporter to the event, which may slightly improve the situation.
Additionally, an important change is that talents will now be selected by the lighting studio, not Valve, as it was before.
The International 2024 will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The tournament will feature the top 16 teams competing for the prize pool from Compendium sales. The group stage will be held from September 4 to 6, and the playoff stage will conclude on September 10. The final stage of the tournament will take place from September 13 to 15 at Copenhagen's Royal Arena.
As previously reported by Cyberscore.live, Valve announced the start of ticket sales for The International 2024.
