Quantum Team unveils new roster without captain
Quantum Team has announced a revamped roster for CCT Season 2 Series 2 without captain Dmitry Lukas Davydov. The announcement was published on the organization’s official Telegram channel.
It is worth noting that only stand-ins represented the team in the previous online tournament. For the upcoming competition, the organization has assembled a completely new main roster.
Previously, Lukas found himself at the center of a scandal: he was accused by team stand-in Gleb Krinzhik Vasilevskiy of intentionally throwing a match against 4Pirates during the European Pro League Season 27. Davydov later released a statement explaining that his comments, which resembled a discussion of "322", were actually poorly-worded toxic jokes directed at other players. The organization also released an official statement on the matter.
We apologize to our teammates, opponents, and EPL tournament organizers for what happened. We condemn any form of dishonest play, remain committed to fair play, and are always open to cooperating with organizers to further clarify the situation
