Lelis revealed the salaries of pro players at different tiers
According to Rodrigo Lelis Lelis Santos, players in the world's top six teams earn between $12,000 and $20,000. Lelis also revealed how much esports players in Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams earn.
"I don't have exact data, but I assume that Tier 1 teams (roughly the top 6 in the world) earn $12,000-20,000, and some even more. Tier 2 (who constantly play in tournaments but rarely place high) earn $6,000-12,000, and tier 3 (who participate in tournaments from time to time) earn $1,000-4,000. There may also be bonuses for media, streams, publications, and so on. But, in general, that's about right."
In addition, Lelis clarified that esports players receive a bonus for winning championships and a share of the prize money, but not 1/5 of it, as the club's organization and staff also receive their share.
“As a result, it turns out to be one-sixth or one-seventh of the total prize money. Some organizations want more money from the prize pool than others.”
Recall that in April 2025, Team Spirit CEO Nikita Cheshir Chukalin stated that salaries at the club start at $500 and do not exceed $30,000, and that it costs $1,400,000 per year to maintain the top 16 Dota 2 roster.
As CyberScore reported earlier, Magomed Collapse Khalilov and Denis Larl Sigitov jokingly discussed their salaries.
