"I don’t want to return to teams without prospects, I’m expecting a proper offer" – kaori gave an interview about playing for MOUZ
Support Oleg kaori Medvedok, who played for MOUZ as a stand-in at PGL Wallachia Season 6 gave an interview to Olexiy STORM_Q Tumanov, where he talked in detail about the team’s atmosphere and how the roster managed to win the tournament despite the substitution.
According to the player, at first he was not sure that the team could perform at a high level and reach the final.
On paper, the players aren’t the strongest, but when we started playing, it became clear that they really perform well. When we dropped to the lower bracket, we didn’t get demoralized. We were lucky in the first matches, the teams weren’t very strong, and we gained momentum along the way.
Kaori also emphasized that he was pleasantly surprised by the level of his teammates’ play, especially the team’s carry Remko Crystallis Arets:
Crystallis plays actively and did a huge amount of work in the game. It was easy for me to play with him both on the lane and in-game. I also played with Ghost, he is good too, but less active.

Discussing the series against PARIVISION in the first round of the playoff stage, the support noted that not all maps went perfectly and recalled a moment with an experimental pick that led to a loss:
We decided to take a risk and put Huskar in the carry role on the third map. It looked bold, but we were punished. They outdrafted us, outpaced us, and controlled the jungle better – they just did everything better. In the first game everything went well, but we couldn’t push, and Void farmed the whole time and recovered his network.
Speaking about the grand final against Team Spirit, Oleg emphasized that fatigue weighed on the players, but it didn’t stop MOUZ from staying focused:
After the first map it was unpleasant, but we didn’t fall apart. We dragged them into late game, but that was a mistake. On the second map we played bolder, went forward, and managed to take an important Roshan thanks to a good save and coordination. The third map was interesting. When we went for the high ground, I told Yamich to be ready to save Juggernaut, and Crystallis said he would have time to press the spear spin on Mars.
Kaori paid special attention to the decisive fifth map:
We knew that Timber is an uncomfortable hero for them. They rarely win against him. We took the risk, and this pick really worked. Although we had hardly played him before and weren’t sure if we could play him well. And of course Boom played very well.
Concluding the conversation, Medvedok spoke openly about his future plans:
I don’t want to return to temporary stacks or teams without prospects. I want a proper structure, a proper organization, proper players. I’m ready to consider offers. This victory is a good chance to establish myself at a Tier 1 level.
It’s worth noting that for MOUZ, winning PGL Wallachia Season 6 became their first Tier 1 championship in the last 12 years. The club last won a major tournament in 2013 – RaidCall EMS One Summer Season. For kaori, this title was also special, as it was his first championship at such a high level.
Earlier, Cyberscore shared details of an interview with Lasse MATUMBAMAN Urpalainen, where he talked about how Team Liquid differed from Secret and how he won The International.
