The esports organization Into The Breach announced its closure. According to club representatives, financial fraud had taken place within the company’s management. The announcement was made on social media.

“Recent events at Into the Breach (ITB) have highlighted significant mismanagement within the organization. Upon further investigation, we discovered that an individual entrusted with all financial and monetary decisions was embezzling funds for personal use. This betrayal has left ITB in an unsustainable position, and with deep regret, we must begin the process of winding down our operations.

We’re working with legal and financial advisors to handle this situation transparently and responsibly. Our priority is to support our players, staff, and partners during this difficult transition”

ITB also thanked its fans and expressed regret over the club's closure.

“This is a heartbreaking moment for all of us. ITB was built on the passion of underdogs and the belief that hard work could overcome any odds. But more than anything, it was built on you—our fans. Your support, your chants, and your unwavering belief in us have been our driving force. We are so sorry to let you down.

To our fans—thank you for being the heart of ITB. This isn’t the ending we wanted, but your support has meant everything. While this chapter may be closing, we hope to find a way to honor the legacy we’ve built together”

Owen smooya Butterfield, a Counter-Strike 2 player for Into The Breach, stated on Twitter that the organization’s CEO had embezzled over $500,000.

“Thank you CEO for laundering money behind everyones back and scamming over 500,000$ from your own players. ESPORTS!”

Recall that Into The Breach returned to the Dota 2 discipline on January 21, signing Jigglin Stack. Under the new tag, the team became a finalist of the European Pro League Season 23.

Into The Breach roster:

  • Altanginj 423 Bilguun
  • Philipp Copy Buhler
  • Ivan MinD_ContRoL Ivanov
  • Rodrigo Lelis Lelis Santos
  • Tugstur Se Dashzevge

As CyberScore previously reported, Wildcard has signed the roster of Apex Genesis.
