Recently, a new analysis appeared online regarding how capturing the first Tormentor affects match outcomes in Dota 2. The research in this area was conducted by analyst Ben Noxville Stinuizen, who published his findings on platform X.

Noxville analyzed 67 matches in the updated game patch and noted an interesting pattern: in 46 of these games, the teams that captured the first Tormentor at the 15-minute mark won. This corresponds to a win rate of almost 69%.

A few days ago, the analyst also shared similar data, but based on a smaller sample of 40 matches, where the result was slightly lower — in 67.5% of cases, Tormentor turned out to be key for the victory.Also matches in which the team that captured the first Tormentor won, on average, lasted 2 minutes and 45 seconds shorter than those they lost.
