"After kicking Zayac, NAVI should have looked for a leader", — streamer
Streamer Andrii Ghostik Kadyk commented on Natus Vincere’s elimination from PGL Wallachia Season 8, highlighting internal issues within the team. According to him, the current problems are related to atmosphere and internal processes rather than individual players:
The logical question is — what should be done next? Probably the best option for players is not to constantly look for someone to blame for losses, but to work with what they have. If a player is trying and does not bring destructive behavior, you can achieve results with him. As I said before, kicking Zayac was a mistake.
He added that after the player’s departure, the team lost a leader, and the attempt to replace him did not bring the desired effect. At the same time, in his opinion, too much responsibility was placed on Taras gotthejuice Linnikov, including leadership and in-game decision-making.
Zayac indeed did not perform well in recent tournaments, but by removing him, the team also lost a leader. Therefore, after the kick, they should have looked for a similarly strong captain rather than Daze, who, although plays well, is far from being a leader.

Ghostik also touched on the role of coach Aske Cy- Larsen, noting that he may lack the experience needed to manage such processes despite his previous work with Gaimin Gladiators.
In the interview, it was mentioned that Cy was one of the main initiators of the kick, so why is he not handling it himself? In my opinion, he simply does not have enough experience.
Yes, he worked as a coach in Gladiators, but he has never been a top-tier player or drafter and does not fully understand what players need to win tournaments.
In addition, he pointed out internal pressure within the team and hinted that some players have started to overestimate themselves without significant achievements. As an example of a professional approach, he mentioned Michal Nisha Jankowski and Amer Miracle- Al-Barkawi, who, despite frequent victories, always give their maximum.
In conclusion, Ghostik expressed hope that Natus Vincere will be able to stabilize their game, finish the season with the current roster, and only then make decisions about the team’s future.
At PGL Wallachia, the team placed 12–14 and failed to reach the playoff stage. During the group stage, the team won only one out of four series.
