GamerLegion carry leaves the team after The International 2026

GamerLegion carry Daniel Ghost Chan Kok Hong announced on his X account that he has left roster and is now looking for a new club.

I am no longer under contract with GamerLegion and am officially open to offers. Thank you to everyone for the time we spent together. I am looking forward to the next chapter and ready for new challenges.

Ghost joined the organization on March 31, 2026, replacing Indji Shad Lub, who was on trial with the team. Before him, Luke Yamsun Wang played in the carry position.

The club's results improved after the Malaysian carry joined. With Daniel on the roster, the team played 98 maps, winning 50 and losing 48 for a win rate of around 51%.

Ghost also outperformed GamerLegion's previous carries in individual statistics. His average KDA during his time with the team was 4.41, compared to 3.82 for Yamsun and 3.27 for Shad. Chan Kok Hong also surpassed both players in average gold and experience per minute, recording 712 GPM and 833 XPM.

During five months with Ghost, the team managed to qualify for two of the biggest tournaments of the year. GamerLegion won the North American qualifiers for Esports World Cup 2026 and The International 2026. In the TI15 qualifiers, the team did not lose a single series and won the grand final 3:0.

At the tournament itself, GamerLegion managed to defeat Xtreme Gaming and OG 2:0. However, the team stopped one match short of advancing to the next stage after losing 0:2 to Iron Wing.

Other results achieved by the roster with Ghost include a fourth-place finish at PREMIER SERIES, a 9-11 place finish at PGL Wallachia Season 8, and an appearance at DreamLeague Season 29.

Before the Malaysian carry joined, the team's results were more modest. With Yamsun in the carry position, GamerLegion finished 7-10 at BLAST Slam VI, while with Shad the team finished 9-10 at ESL One Birmingham 2026.

The organization has not yet announced who will fill the vacant carry position.
