Gaimin Gladiators won`t participate in Elite League Season 2

Gaimin Gladiators refused to participate in Elite League Season 2, where the team received a direct invitation. The organization explained this by the players' fatigue after Riyadh Masters 2024.

For three weeks GG trained without breaks. Their bootcamp before TI 13 is scheduled for mid-August, so the break between tournaments will be about three weeks. All of this contributed to the decision to skip the event.

Dear South American Dota community, This message is addressed to you, the wonderful Latin American community, which deserves an explanation of why we will not come to play at Elite League 2 in Lima, Peru. The first reason is fatigue. The victory at Riyadh Masters brought us a lot of joy, but it required a lot of work to achieve it. Our Dota roster trained without breaks for 3 weeks before the tournament. Considering how long the tournament itself lasted, it turned out to be more than 5 weeks of full dedication to Dota. I hope you understand that we really need to rest and celebrate, see our families, and recharge. The second reason is our bootcamp before The International is scheduled for mid-August. It turns out that the rest period between tournaments for our team is about 3 weeks. That's why we won't come to you in Lima. Our team really enjoyed the major in Lima, as we have already said in several interviews. Gladiators is a European-Canadian organization, but some employees have important ties with South America, so we would really like to visit you again. Thank you ESB for the invitation. We hope we can attend another of your tournaments in the future.

Elite League Season 2 will be held from July 24 to August 8 in offline mode in Peru. The tournament will feature 6 teams competing for a prize pool of 800 thousand dollars.
