Manager of G2.IG Jack KBBQ Chen commented on the situation with the critical bug during the G2.IG - Tundra Esports match at The International 2024. Recall that the game was paused for 40 minutes due to technical issues.

Regarding the pause on the first map and the game's resumption: our players and management cannot communicate during pauses, so no one fully understood how and why decisions were made. However, we discussed it with PGL to clarify what exactly happened. We also requested the organizers publicly explain the situation, as they have all the information from the referees and both teams.

We are currently focused on preparing for the match against Gaimin Gladiators. Thank you for your concern and support

In the G2.IG - Tundra Esports match during the group stage of The International 2024, Tundra's support Martin Saksa Sazdov, playing on Mirana, encountered a critical bug: the player could not use Leap, and the hero lost the effect of Aghanim's Shard. It took the organizers more than 40 minutes to fix the issue.

The International 2024 will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. 16 teams will compete in the championship. The event's prize pool exceeds $2 million.

As previously reported by Cyberscore.live, the match at The International 2024 was stopped due to a critical bug.
