ESL One has announced the first Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 Major. The tournament, which will be held from May 12 to 22 in Stockholm, Sweden, will be open to spectators for the first time since the beginning of 2020. This was reported on the official website of the organization.

18 participants of the Major will be divided into two groups, matches in which will be played in the best-of-2 format. The top four from each will advance to the upper bracket, while the fifth and sixth teams will continue to compete in the lower part of the playoffs. The Grand Final will be held in the best-of-5 system.

The prize fund of ESL One Stockholm 2022 will be $500,000. The teams will also compete for 3530 DPC points.

As you can remember, DPC 2021/22 Winter Major was canceled due to the spread of new strains of coronavirus. Instead, the developers of Dota 2 decided to hold Regional Finals. In Western Europe, the winners of the tournament were the Gladiators. In the finals, esportsmen, who previously played under the name of Team Tickles, defeated Team Liquid.
