ESL One Malaysia: group stage draw has been made

Alliance, Entity Gaming and Team Secret from Western Europe will play in Group A at ESL One Malaysia. Their opponents will be Talon Esports (Southeast Asia), Team Aster (China) and Thunder Awaken (South America). Information about this appeared on the tournament page on Liquipedia.

In turn, Nigma Galaxy, OG and Team Liquid (all from Western Europe) will face BOOM Esports and Fnatic (both from Southeast Asia) and TSM (North America). Here is the composition of the groups:

It should be noted that at ESL One Malaysia 12 teams will compete for $400,000. The tournament will be held from August 23 to 28. The group stage matches will be played in a best-of-2 format, and the playoffs – in a best-of-3 format. The Grand Final, unlike other matches, will continue until one of the teams wins three maps (best-of-5).
