Largo is still imba — ESL One Birmingham 2026: Final Stats and Tournament Meta
ESL One Birmingham 2026 has come to an end. Tundra Esports emerged as the tournament champion, and CyberScore has compiled the final statistics for the championship.
As a reminder, Dota 2 patch 7.41 was released during the tournament, which, of course, affected the meta. However, in the first few days after the update, players opted to ban the new powerful heroes and picked heroes with whom they had already developed strategies. The most universal supports were picked most often: Jakiro, Shadow Shaman, and Tusk.
Largo, just like at PGL Wallachia Season 7, remains the most banned hero, along with Shadow Demon and Treant Protector. Largo and Shadow Demon also made the list of the most contested heroes. Analysts and players note that the frog-bard wasn’t nerfed that much.

Sand King, Tidehunter, and Jakiro had an extremely high win rate — a rare instance where one of the most popular heroes also made it into the top 3 by win rate. The least effective were Luna, Warlock, and Ember Spirit.
The most successful hero combinations on the lane were the pairs Phoenix — Shadow Fiend/Templar Assassin and Jakiro — Ursa/Muerta on the easy lane, and Tusk — Largo/Faceless Void — Batrider on the hard lane.
Due to the release of a new patch, only 15 heroes were ignored at ESL One Birmingham 2026: Chaos Knight, Elder Titan, Grimstroke, Juggernaut, Legion Commander, Lina, Magnus, Outworld Destroyer, Phantom Assassin, Phantom Lancer, Riki, Techies, Vengeful Spirit, Winter Wyvern, and Zeus.
ESL One Birmingham 2026 took place from 22.03.2026 to 29.03.2026. 16 teams competed for a prize pool of $1,000,000 and 35,460 EPT points.
Earlier, CyberScore presented statistics on changes to character win rates in Patch 7.41.
