“Seeking monetary compensation in exchange for his assistance”: ESIC reveals details of the ban on Sensibility and Taiga

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has announced lifetime bans against Tommy Taiga Le and Alexander Sensibility Filatov for participating in match-fixing. Both former esports players refused to cooperate with the investigation, and Sensibility made matters worse by seeking monetary compensation in exchange for his assistance with the investigation.

Taiga and Sensibility are accused of influencing match outcomes for betting purposes, abusing and disclosing insider information for personal gain, concealing fraud, and other actions related to match-fixing. In particular, Sensibility also intimidated and coerced other players into dishonest actions, as well as extorted and received bribes.

ESIC representatives noted that the decision regarding Taiga was delayed because the organization received information raising concerns about the player’s welfare and state of mind. But after some time, a decision was finally made to impose sanctions.

Natus Vincere manager Zhanna radiactivebaby Batkovna reacted to the delay in the verdict:

"The speed of the investigation, and indeed the very existence of ESIC, never ceases to amaze me. Somewhere, Lefitan and 4ivan — along with half the participants in Streamer Battles — might laugh at this news, as they already believe they are not guilty in the 322 case."

In its investigation of the Sensibility case, ESIC identified 17 violations of the Code of Conduct and 13 violations of the Anti-Corruption Code, indicating a systematic breach of fair play rules and principles. The sanctions prohibit Tommy Le and Alexander Filatov from participating, performing, or attending in an official capacity at any events or competitions approved by ESIC, holding any position in ESIC-sanctioned esports organizations, and discussing esports activities with players.

Sensibility responded to ESIC’s statement on his Telegram channel:

“I got a second lifetime ban too. Thanks for the publicity, ESIC.”

He also posted a reaction from Taiga, who laughed off the ban. As a reminder, Sensibility was involved in the “322 scandal” with Ivan 4IVAN Moshkovsky. Filatov reported that he was the one who logged into the account of former carry Winter Bear with the intention of losing the match.

The first investigation into Taiga’s involvement in match-fixing was published by content creator Morf. He was recruited for the fixed matches by none other than Sensibility. Not long ago, Runa Team reported that Le had approached the team’s players with an “offer to talk.”

As CyberScore previously reported, a former Epulze employee accused the company of failing to pay outstanding debts.
