EPL unveils new masters tournament series with a large prize pool
European Pro League has announced a new online tournament series called EPL Masters. The organizers shared the details on their official X account.
A total of four tournaments will be held throughout 2026 with a combined prize pool of $400,000, while each event will feature $100,000 in prize money.
The series will become another recurring competition alongside 1win Essence and Premier Series, giving teams the opportunity to earn prize money and gain competitive practice between major international events.
The tournaments are expected to feature both invited tier-1 and tier-2 teams, as well as squads advancing through the preliminary stages.

The organizers have also announced the schedule for all tournaments in the series:
- EPL Masters I — 20.07.2026 to 12.08.2026.
- EPL Masters II — 24.08.2026 to 10.09.2026.
- EPL Masters III — 12.10.2026 to 29.10.2026.
- EPL Masters IV — 08.12.2026 to 28.12.2026.
The organizers also revealed the format of EPL Masters I. The tournament will feature 20 teams, which will begin their campaigns from different stages of the competition.
The Play-In stage will feature 12 teams split into two groups. The top four teams from each group will advance to the main stage. They will then be joined by four invited teams that will enter directly into the group stage. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs.
Another four teams will receive direct invitations to the playoffs. The final stage will use a Double Elimination bracket, with the champion being decided in a BO5 grand final.
In addition to the new EPL Masters series, the tournament organizer will continue to host European Pro League for Europe and EPL World Series for South America and Southeast Asia. The prize pools for those events will remain significantly lower, reaching up to $20,000.
