The decisive PGL Wallachia Season 7 qualifier match ended in the first second: what happened

In the final of the open qualifiers for PGL Wallachia Season 7 in the Southeast Asia region, Sapsap were trailing Kukuysv2 0-1. On the second map, immediately after the draft stage, support player Ravdan NARMAN Narmandakh disconnected from the game, after which a pause was called.

A minute later, Sapsap players reported that he would not return and refused to continue the match with four players, typing GG in the chat. This resulted in an early loss and the end of the series.

Some streamers who were broadcasting the match suspected the team of match fixing. At the same time, a technical issue preventing reconnection to the lobby cannot be ruled out - a problem that occurs extremely rarely even at tier-1 tournaments.

It is worth noting that Sapsap’s roster features well-known players from the Asian region: Souliya JaCkky Khoomphetsavong, who previously gained recognition through his performances for Boom Esports, Sukhbat sanctity- Otgondavaa, who represented both Boom and Natus Vincere, as well as Marc Raven Fausto, who competed at several editions of The International as part of Fnatic.

Following this series, Kukuysv2 secured a slot in the closed qualifiers, where the team will fight for a place at the main event. At the same time, the second open qualifiers will take place on January 24, though it is still unclear whether Sapsap will participate.

The open qualifiers for PGL Wallachia Season 7 will take place from 21.01.2026 to 24.01.2026, while the closed qualifiers are scheduled from 26.01.2026 to 29.01.2026. The main stage of the tournament is planned from 05.03.2026 to 15.03.2026 in Bucharest, Romania, where 16 teams will compete for a $1 000 000 prize pool.
