Patch 7.41d had no impact on the meta: final statistics for BLAST SLAM VII
BLAST SLAM VII has come to an end. Team Yandex emerged as the tournament champion, and CyberScore has compiled the final statistics for the championship.
Despite the buffs in patch 7.41d and the drawn-out games of the current meta, late-game carries, just like in the previous DreamLeague Season 29, are still not popular. In particular, a whole range of classic first-position heroes was completely ignored in this championship.
The pro players themselves also note that the nerfs from the recent update didn’t weaken the current meta heroes that much. The list of the most contested heroes hasn’t changed compared to DreamLeague: Lone Druid, Clockwerk, and Puck topped the list. Additionally, Clockwerk became one of the heroes with the highest win rate across more than 20 matches played.
Hoodwink was once again the most frequently picked hero, but this time Lion took second place, while Windranger rounded out the top 3 in this metric, despite having one of the worst win rates.

Never picked or banned at BLAST SLAM VII Anti-Mage, Arc Warden, Bloodseeker, Bounty Hunter, Broodmother, Crystal Maiden, Disruptor, Jakiro, Leshrac, Lina, Medusa, Morphling, Ogre Magi, Outworld Destroyer, Pugna, Riki, Spectre, Troll Warlord, Visage, Weaver, and Wraith King.
The average game duration at the tournament was 43 minutes and 51 seconds. Two matches in the competition lasted 111 minutes and were the longest in patches 7.41c and 7.41d — the series between LGD Gaming and Team Yandex and Aurora Gaming, where Santiago TaiLung Olivos set a pro-scene record for damage dealt while playing Zeus.
BLAST SLAM VII took place from 26.05.2026 to 07.06.2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark, where 12 teams competed for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
As CyberScore previously reported, all participants in the Esports World Cup 2026 have been determined.
