BLAST has announced a new tournament series
Tournament operator BLAST is returning to the professional Dota 2 scene. The organization's personal Twitter account announced a new tournament series: A BATTLE AWAITS.
The series consists of five tournaments that will run from 2024 to 2025. The prize pool is unknown at this time, but company representatives have stated that they have huge plans for the stage of our favorite game.
As we grow as a business and expand into new games, Dota has always been on our wish list. With the recent changes in the Dota ecosystem, we feel this is a great opportunity for BLAST to come in, provide the community with next level tournaments and become the new home for Dota 2
Dates of the event:
- November 26 - December 1, 2024
- February 4 - February 9, 2025
- March 6 - March 11, 2025
- May 14 - May 19, 2025
- May 25 - May 30, 2025
BLAST is a danish tournament operator that is known for Counter-Strike competitions. It held its first and last Dota 2 championship in 2020, the BLAST Bounty Hunt. The tournament featured 6 teams from Western Europe who raffled off 145,000 euros.
