Aurora's coach explained what Skiter's joining changed
Aurora Gaming coach Damien kpii Chok compared the team’s new carry, Oliver skiter Lepko, to former teammate Egor Nightfall Grigorenko. The Aurora coach shared his thoughts in an interview at BLAST SLAM VIII.
kpii stated that, in terms of drafts and game preparation, the replacement didn’t have a major impact on the team, since skiter and Nightfall have fairly similar hero pools. Damien cited the team atmosphere as the main difference, noting that Nightfall is a more talkative player.
He put a lot of effort into everything related to the game. He talked a lot about it and was very “loud” — both in-game and out of it. So yes, that’s the biggest change

It’s worth noting that, according to tournament statistics, Nightfall can be named not only the most active caller in Aurora, but also on the pro scene as a whole. At tournaments, Grigorenko often ranked first in the number of map pings and pings per minute among all participants.
skiter, before joining Aurora Gaming, played for teams consisting mainly of English-speaking players, who tend to communicate more sparingly.
Aurora’s revamped roster made its debut at PGL Wallachia Season 9, where it finished in 5th–6th place. At the current BLAST SLAM VIII, the team has already secured a spot in the playoffs, where it will begin its run on October 8. You can follow the competition in detail in the coverage.
