There was a conflict between ATF and Kiyotaka
A conflict occurred in Dota 2 matchmaking between Team Falcons offlaner Ammar ATF Assaf and BetBoom Team's midlaner Gleb Kiyotaka Zyryanov. The information was shared on the personal Telegram channel of the Russian team's manager Luka Lukawa Nasuashvili.
Lukawa posted an appeal to Team Falcons coach Kurtis Aui_2000 Ling, stating that ATF's behavior was unacceptable. Additionally, Luka mentioned awaiting a public apology for Kiyotaka and urged tournament organizers to pay attention to this situation.
After the recent events in Bucharest that taught everyone a big lesson, your unruly child is misbehaving again. I expect a public apology to my player from you personally, as well as some action. Teach Amar some manners if no one has done so yet. I also ask all tournament operators to pay attention to this
Later, it was reported that ATF and Kiyotaka had a private conversation where Ammar apologized. However, the BB Team manager noted that this didn’t change the nature of the situation. Lukawa also had a personal conversation with Aui_2000. According to him, Kurtis agreed to the charges, and the conflict was fully resolved.
ATF himself made a personal statement explaining the reason for his threats toward Kiyotaka. The esportsman clarified that he didn't mean to offend the Russian player with his messages in the public chat, as they've known each other for a long time and he didn't put much meaning into his words.
Me and Kiyotaka are cool with each other. We always troll each other in ranked games. Maybe I went kinda far with it, and I told him sorry if I took it that far. He said he doesn’t care and knows that I’m joking, everything I said to him was a joke, nothing personal or real. I understand these types of jokes are not good at all, so my bad, everyone
Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that Aui_2000 had spoken about trash talk in Dota 2 and the behavior of Team Falcons players.
