Abed to miss FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 - Virtus.pro announces replacement
The esports organization Virtus.pro announced that midlaner Abed Azel Abed Yusop will miss FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 due to visa issues.
He will be replaced at the tournament by academy player Andrey Serenada Kushnarev. Information about the substitution was published on the club’s official Telegram channel.
Abed is forced to skip the event as he is preparing his visa for participation in ESL One Birmingham 2026. During this period, he will be temporarily replaced by a midlaner from Virtus.pro’s youth roster.
At the moment, Virtus.pro are competing in the Play-in stage of the tournament, where the team has reached the upper bracket final of Group C and will face Zero Tenacity tomorrow for a spot in the Playoff stage.
It is also worth noting that the squad has qualified for ESL One Birmingham 2026 through the closed qualifiers and will compete at the event on March 22, which will take place in the United Kingdom.

The Play-in stage of FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 is scheduled to take place from 21.01.2026 to 28.01.2026, while the main event will be held online from 29.01.2026 to 01.02.2026, where eight teams will compete for a $250,000 prize pool.
Earlier, Cyberscore reported that Team Public withdrew from the tournament, and the organizers announced a replacement.
