After extensive player tests, the Chinese roster for the 2023 Asian Games has been announced. It includes Ame, Somnus, XinQ, Pyw and Siamese.C, with LaNm as the coach, and Mad and super as his assistants.

It means that the legendary Chinese players Ame and XinQ return to the professional Dota 2 scene for the first time since The International 11. Also, Somnus, Chalice and Ame will play on the same team again. They represented PSG.LGD at TI8 and TI9, managing to achieve 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.

The Asian Games 2023 is a multi-sport event to be held in Hangzhou, China. It is scheduled from Sept. 23 to Oct. 8. In addition to Dota 2, the event will feature such eSports disciplines as League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, FIFA 23, Street Fighter and Hearthstone.

Asian games were expected to take place in 2022, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were moved to 2023.
