PGL has permanently banned 5 players for participating in match-fixing
The tournament organizer PGL has permanently banned five players for participating in match-fixing in Dota 2. They are now prohibited from participating in any company events. This information was shared on the organization's official Twitter account.
The ban was imposed on ClouD and Volodymyr ValOdbka Shtefliuk, who recently advanced to the closed qualifiers of DreamLeague Season 25, as well as Leonid Sonic Kuzmenkov, Muhammad high_shaggy Ghaznavi, and Dmytro (known as Logan). PGL representatives did not specify which matches the players violated the rules in.
The tournament operator ESL has also joined the investigation. Representatives of this company announced that they would conduct their own investigation regarding these esports players, however, the likelihood of the players being disqualified remains high.
Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that Artstyle is no longer the coach of NAVI Junior.
