33 talked about his responsibilities in Team Liquid

Offlaner Team Liquid Neta 33 Shapira discussed changing his role in the new team after leaving Tundra Esports. He is now responsible for drafts and organizing training, while other tasks are handled by coach William Blitz Lee.

In Tundra Esports I was not the official captain because I did not draft and did not want to. But I was the leader of the team in social aspects. I explained how we would structure the training, how everything would be organized in the team. At the same time, I allowed people to express their opinions as well.

In Team Liquid it's the opposite, now I draft and am responsible for the gameplay, while Blitz manages the team outside the games, as he has been communicating with the guys for a very long time.

Neta also commented on captaincy, noting that in different situations the final word belongs to different team members. For example, in aspects of macro play, the significant opinion belongs to support Samuel Boxi Swan.

From my experience, the last word is not always with the captain and not always his word is law. In my previous teams, there was democracy. However, there still needs to be someone who says the last word, and it is not necessarily the same person every time.

For instance, when we have disagreements about macro play, we only listen to Boxi.

33 joined Team Liquid at the end of last year, and with Liquid, he has already secured 2nd place at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and 3rd at 1win Series Dota 2 Spring. The team is currently preparing for the upcoming PGL Wallachia Season 1, which will take place from May 10 to 19.
