Throne
Throne is a slang and alternative name for the Ancient, dating back to the original Dota. In the Dota Allstars map, the Scourge Ancient was based on the model of the Frozen Throne — an object from the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne campaign where the Lich King sat. Because it looked like an icy throne, players started calling it simply “the throne.”
