What is Autocast?

Autocast is the automatic use of an ability. It’s a special feature available on certain abilities that allows them to be used automatically during each attack or action, provided autocast is enabled. Autocast can be toggled on or off by right-clicking the ability icon or by pressing Alt + the corresponding ability key. When active, the ability triggers whenever possible, without needing to manually press the button.

Examples of abilities with autocast:

• Drow Ranger’s Frost Arrows can be set to autocast, causing each basic attack to slow enemies;
• Clinkz’s Tar Bomb also has autocast, adding bonus damage to each attack;
• Omniknight and Abaddon have autocast abilities that automatically activate under certain conditions when needed.
