Venomancer counterpicks: who to choose against this hero in Dota 2

Venomancer – a universal ranged hero. He has powerful magic damage, as well as strong slowing abilities. He is especially dangerous in prolonged fights because of his ability to deal high damage over time. Most of the time he is a support, but sometimes he can be found as an offlaner or a midlaner.

Early game:

It's worth noting that if your ally is under Venomous Gale's influence and his health is running low, you have the option to hit him. Doing so will deny Venomancer a frag and an extra advantage.

Mid game:

If Venomancer is playing as a support, Glimmer Cape is not an uncommon purchase for him. Keep Dust of Appearance with you, as well as Sentry Wards: he can shield not only himself, but also his teammates.

Have at least one artifact by this time to neutralize negative effects, and in fights try to destroy Venomancer first.

Late game:
