Oracle counterpicks: who to choose against this hero in Dota 2

Oracle is a ranged hero, a classic support. All of Oracle's abilities are aimed at supporting allies and will allow them to play comfortably or save them in a critical situation.

A good choice against Oracle will be heroes that:

• Reduce healing and health regeneration
• Can quickly shorten range, catch, control, and kill Oracle
• Will not allow to escape with False Promise

Some of the best heroes against Oracle:

• Axe - Has good control against Oracle in the form of Berserker's Call, and Culling Blade is the only ability in Dota 2 that will allow you to kill a hero under False Promise.

Start of the game:

Whether you will have a hard time standing lane against Oracle depends on your characters. If Fortune's End's constant buff dispelling isn't a problem for you, you shouldn't have a hard time. Oracle can harass the enemy with a combination of Fortune's End and Purifying Flames, but he may have mana issues early on, which you can take advantage of.

Mid-game:

Oracle will stick close to his team most of the time and help them win fights with his buffs, or set up wards. It is important to kill Oracle before engaging in combat, or control him in combat.

Late Stage:

Oracle's gameplay is unlikely to change, and neither will your opposition to him. However, it is also important to acquire items that will help you deal with him faster in late.
