Disruptor counterpicks: who to choose against this hero in Dota 2

Disruptor is a range hero, a classic support. He has very strong abilities, but at the same time has low stats of all characteristics, which makes him very vulnerable.

A good choice against Disruptor will be heroes that:

• Are able to leave Kinetic Field's area of effect and/or avoid returning from Glimpse
• Have high resistance to magic damage
• Can catch and kill Disruptor quickly.

Some of the best heroes against Disruptor:

• Juggernaut - Has three abilities (Blade Fury, Omnislash, and Swiftslash) that dispel Thunder Strike, will allow you to leave the range of Kinetic Field, avoid returning from Glimpse, and are extremely effective against Disruptor's innate ability.
• Nyx - Good against most supports as it deals significant damage to them with Mind Flare, due to their large manapool. 
• Huskar - Has high resistance to magic damage. Can leave the area of Kinetic Field and avoid Glimpse's return by applying Life Break.

Avoiding Glimpse's return and/or leaving Kinetic Field will allow all skills with effects immunity, as well as the following abilities:

• Scythe Of Vyse/Skull Basher/Abyssal Blade/Orchid Malevolence/Bloodthorn - to control Disruptor.
• Blink Dagger - will allow you to get out of Kinetic Field or quickly shorten the distance with Disruptor.

How to counter Disruptor:

Beginning of the game:

Magic Stick and Infused Raindrops will be useful on the lane against Disruptor, he can effectively trade resources with Thunder Strike, but he may have mana problems early on, which can be taken advantage of. If you die in lane against Disruptor, use Town Portal Scroll to a safe place where he can't use Glimpse on you.

Mid-game:

After Disruptor has Ultimates, it is important to keep a good position unless you have the ability to kill Disruptor before the battle. Heroes that can save an ally from Disruptor's skills should stay behind. It is important not to get in Static Storm as a team.

Late stage:

Static Storm with Aghanim's Scepter is extremely dangerous, as it renders heroes who are in it practically helpless. A good position and some items, such as Black King Bar and Pipe of Insight, can still help you win a fight with Disruptor alive.
