Dark Seer counterpicks: who to choose against this hero in Dota 2

Dark Seer is an intelligence melee hero. Dark Seer's abilities make him an excellent initiator, who is able to break the enemy's position and create winning moments for his team.

A good choice against Dark Seer would be heroes that:

• Can dispel Ion Shell and Surge.
• Can quickly leave the area of effect of Wall of Replica or kill illusions.
• Can catch Dark Seer and will not allow him to escape with Surge.

Some of the best heroes against Dark Seer:

• Oracle - Fortune's End recharges very quickly and dispels the effects of Ion Shell and Surge, which is extremely frustrating for Dark Seer, especially early on. Oracle will still be just as strong later on in the game, as Dark Seer has no abilities to control Oracle and he will always be able to help an ally that DS has attacked.

How to counter Dark Seer:

Beginning of the game:

Already from the first minutes of the game, Dark Seer is able to farm very effectively with Ion Shell. If you don't have the ability to dispel it, it is necessary to not allow DS to stack and farm neutral creeps, and try to kill to slow down farming.

Mid-game:

It is still also still worth trying to prevent Dark Seer from farming. When key items appear, DS will start looking for opportunities to initiate a favorable fight for his team. If you don't see him on the map, it's worth keeping a good position and being ready to fight, or retreating to safe areas if you're not ready to engage in combat.

Late Stage:

In the late game, illusions from the Wall of Replica can cause significant damage.
