BetBoom Team is a Russian Dota 2 esports team founded on April 18, 2022. The first squad consisted of former Winstrike Team players Nikita Daxak Kuzmin, Denis Larl Sigitov, Evgeny Noticed Ignatenko, Maxim Forcemajor Meretsky, Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev and Andrey Mag Chipenko in the coaching position.
The first tournament where the players played under the BetBoom Team tag was the Winline Dota 2 Champions League Season 9. The team received a direct invitation to the playoffs, where they advanced through the top flight to the grand finals, losing only one map in a match against Virtus.pro. In the grand finals of the tournament BetBoom Team had to fight a tough battle with Gambit Esports. As a result, Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev's team won the match with a score of 3:2 and became the Winline Dota 2 Champions League Season 9 champion.
According to the team's carry Nikita Daxak Kuzmin, BetBoom Team will take the Winstrike Team slot and play in the first division of the DPC League for Eastern Europe.
On December 8, BetBoom Team announced a new roster: Egor Nightfall Grigorenko on offlane, Daniil gpk Skutin, Ivan Pure Moskalenko, Vitaly Save Melnik and Alexander TORONTOTOKYO Hertek on a new position - full support. Anatoly boolk Ivanov became the coach. After a series of disappointing results, the players decided to switch roles, Pure started to play in hard, and Nightfall on carry. The best achievement of this roster was 5th-6th place at Riyadh Masters 2023 and top-3 at DreamLeague Season 21. BetBoom Team took 5-6th place at The International 12.
In November 2023, BetBoom Team successfully qualifies for ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023 among teams from Eastern Europe. In the finals, it defeats Virtus.pro with a score of 2:1.
In December 2023, BetBoom Team took 4th place at ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023, after which it was officially announced that Ivan Pure Moskalenko was going into inactivity, and in January 2024, it was announced that Matvey MieRo Vasyunin was joining the main roster.
The renewed roster started the season quite successfully, but the team failed to win the grand final against Team Falcons. First 2nd place at DreamLeague Season 22, and then at ESl One Birmingham 2024. BetBoom Team also finished 3rd at Betboom Dacha Dubai 2024, 12th at Elite League 2024, 10th at PGL Wallachia Season 1 and 3rd at DreamLeague Season 23.
In July 2024, BB Team participated in the Riyadh Masters 2024, where they reached the quarterfinals of the lower bracket and placed 6th. The next tournament was the FISSURE Universe Ep.3, where the team managed to reach the playoffs and placed 4th.
In September, the BetBoom Team roster competed in their second The International 2024 for the organization. The team started in the playoffs from the lower bracket, where they lasted 3 rounds and were eliminated after losing to Team Falcons. As a result, BB Team finished in 8th place.
- September 27, 2024 - BetBoom Team announced a new roster.
The debut of the updated team was quite successful: BB performed at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and DreamLeague Season 24, finishing 3rd and 2nd respectively. In December, BetBoom Team became BLAST SLAM I champions, earning the first title for their tag team, and a bit later, the team went to ESl One Bangkok 2024 but managed to secure only 3rd place there.
January 6, 2025 - gpk returned to the main BetBoom Team roster.
In February, the updated team debuted at FISSURE PLAYGROUND, where they placed 6th. In March, BetBoom Team participated in FISSURE Universe Ep.4,, where they easily reached the grand final, defeating top teams. In the grand final, they also easily triumphed over Gaimin Gladiators with a 3:0 score, becoming the tournament champions.
In April, the team competed at ESL One Raleigh 2025 but lost in the second round of the lower bracket, finishing in 5th-6th place. Later, at the end of April, the team competed in PGL Wallachia Season 4, where they lost in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs and exited the tournament, finishing in 7–8 place.
In May, BetBoom Team took part in BLAST SLAM III, where they lost in the first round of the playoffs and were eliminated, finishing 9th–10th.
On May 31, 2025, the young carry player Andrey bottega joined the team and was loaned to Yellow Submarine.
In early June, the main roster participated in DreamLeague Season 26, finishing in 2nd place. It's worth noting that the team played with a stand-in: kiritych replaced Pure in the carry role. Also in the summer, BB Team earned their second title in history by winning PGL Wallachia Season 5.
In July 2025, BetBoom Team took part in the Riyadh Masters 2025, where they lost in the quarterfinals, finishing in 6th place and earning $125,000 in prize money.
On August 2, 2025, BetBoom Team was eliminated from Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi. The team finished in 4th place and earned $63,000.
On August 23, BetBoom Team competed at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, but lost in their first lower bracket playoff match and exited the tournament, finishing in 5th–6th place.
In September, BetBoom Team participated in The International 2025 where they managed to reach the playoffs but lost in the lower bracket and exited the tournament, finishing in 4th place.
On September 28, it became known that Ivan Pure Moskalenko and coach Anatolii boolk Ivanov were moved to the inactive roster. On September 30, Ilya Kiritych Ulyanov has officially joined BetBoom Team. He will replace Ivan Pure Moskalenko at the first position. The team also introduced a new coach, Roman rmN- Paley.
At the end of October, BetBoom took part in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where the team finished 2nd, reaching the grand final of the tournament. At BLAST SLAM IV, the team finished in 7th place, and at PGL Wallachia Season 6, they made it into the top 4.
In December, BetBoom Team took part in DreamLeague Season 27, where the team was forced to make a substitution during the group stage. Danil gpk~ Skutin was unable to continue due to health issues, and his place was taken by Gleb kiyotaka Zyryanov. At DreamLeague Season 27, BetBoom finished their performance in the group stage with a score of 3-3. The team also failed to reach the playoffs at DreamLeague Season 28.
In March, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 7, where it showed excellent form and finished in 3rd place. However, by the end of the month, the roster once again faced difficulties at ESL One Birmingham 2026, failing to reach the playoffs.
The main tournament of April for BetBoom Team was PGL Wallachia Season 8, where the team unexpectedly became champions without losing a single series.
