Bio
Mario ILICH- Romero Valdivia is a Peruvian cybersports player known for his performances in the Dota 2 discipline on the professional scene.
ILICH- began his cybersport career in 2019 when he joined the little-known Peruvian team Majestic Esports. However, their performance in the qualifications of Movistar LPG Promocional Season 1 tournament was unsuccessful. Mario later tried out for various teams including Gorillaz Pride Blue, Meraki Gaming, Azules Esports, WarriorZ, Latam Defendersand others, but did not have much success.
In late 2020, ILICH- joined Team Infinity and competed under their banner for six months. While playing for Infinity , he placed first at the Epulze Monthly Cup South America: 2021 Warm Up tournament and also placed second at Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 8. He also participated in the DPC League and took part in many local competitions. In May 2021, Mario decided to take a break from the competitive scene and focus on his studies.
In 2022, ILICH- changed several teams including 5ManMidas, Only Fieles, Ukumari and others before joining Thunder Awaken. With his new team, he placed in the regional DPC league and also appeared in the BTS Pro Series Season 13: America and BTS Pro Series Season 14: America tournaments.
In January 2024, Mario joined Boom Esports. Together with them he participated in the qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22, BetBoom Dacha Dubai 20 24 and ESL One Birmingham 2024, but failed to qualify for any of the tournaments, although the team was twice one step away from victory, first at the DreamLeague qualifiers and then at the LAN in Birmingham. Later ILICH- for some time played for Cuyes Esports but did not achieve significant results and in November 2024 moved to Beastcoast, which was soon acquired by the cybersports organization M80. At the tournament, the roster failed to advance beyond the group stage.
After that, the team continued to participate in qualifiers for various tournaments and competed at FISSURE Universe Ep.4, but was eliminated in the early stages. Soon, the entire former M80 roster appeared under the new stack called Perrito Panzon. The team qualified for DreamLeague Season 26 and was soon signed by OG as their second Dota 2 roster under the tag OG LATAM. At DreamLeague, the team finished only in 15th-16th place. On July 1, OG announced the disbandment of its South American roster.
