Bio

Yen Mercury- Shi Jie is a Malaysian esports athlete actively competing in Dota 2.

Mercury- began his professional career in 2015 with the mix Who2Bet, competing in local tournaments. Until 2018, he played for various lesser-known teams, including Hawk Gaming, Genesis Pro Gaming, and TEAM FLASH. He had particularly successful periods with WarriorsGaming.Unity, achieving significant results with prize places at World Electronic Sports Games 2018 and ANGGAME China vs SEA #3.

From 2019 to 2020, Yen competed for teams BLACKJACK, Tigers, Unicorn Gaming, and ShenZhen, but did not achieve major successes with these lineups. He then joined Phoenix Gaming, where he finished fourth in the DPC ranking league and earned $11,000, after which he left the team. Subsequently, Mercury- joined Team Mystery, participated in tournaments such as BIX Invitationals Summer, Ewin Challenge Cup, Asia Pacific Predator League 2020/21 - APAC, and tried his hand at the qualifiers for The International 2021.

Throughout 2022, Yen played for Summit Gaming, where he won silver at Asian Battle Arena Season 1 and a prize place at Moon Studio November Mood 2022, also participating in the qualifiers for ESL One Malaysia 2022. After that, he briefly played for Team Flow, and in May 2023, he joined the team Vision as a carry, soon after participating in the ranked DPC league.

In 2024, he played for various teams, including Polaris Esports, Made in Philippines, Again Gaming. Together with them, he participated in qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22 and 23, and Elite League 2024, but failed to qualify for any of the tournaments.
