Bio

BafiK is a Ukrainian commentator and analyst on Dota 2. He is a former pro-player in HoN. After becoming a Dota 2 cybersports player, where he finished his career in 2013. From 2013 to 2015 he was involved in the development of the HearthStone pro scene in CIS.

The first tournament for BafiK as a Dota 2 commentator was StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 1. After the successful experience of commentating on the Dash 1 tournament, he started to appear regularly on StarLadder broadcasts. After working on StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2 Alexey was invited to his first world championship - The International 2016. After receiving positive feedback from the audience after the main tournament of the year, he started to appear more and more often at the dash-1 events. During 2 years in StarLadder BafiK commented on a huge number of tournaments, the most famous and biggest of which were StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3, WESG 2017 and StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Season 5. When WePlay started organizing its own tournaments and needed a coverage studio, the tournament operator started regularly inviting StarLadder commentators. You may have heard them at matches of Reshuffle Madness, WePlay Winter Madness, and WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Radiant. After The International 2019, BafiK moved to Maincast.

Before the pandemic, Alexey worked at ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore, Maincast Winter Brawl and DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major.
With the beginning of the "online era", BafiK regularly appeared at Dash 1 and Dash 2 tournaments covered by Maincast.The most memorable of these were ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online and ESL One Germany 2020.With the arrival of the new DPC season in 2021, BafiK became a full-time analyst and commentator for Valve's European and CIS leagues.
