Bio
Juan David Vintage Angulo Nijo is a Peruvian roster coach for Dota 2.
Vintage started his career as a coach in 2019, joining Meraki Gaming, which later became Latam Defenders. Juan was able to lead the squad to victory at Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 6 Lower Division.
At the end of 2020, Vintage joined Infinity Esports. Under his leadership, the team managed to move to the top division from the first line of the standings, but by the middle of 2021 the team suffered a slight decline - the team returned to the second division. Vintage made a decision to change the roster, which yielded satisfactory results: the team was on its way to the top of the bracket during the qualifiers for The International 2021, but stumbled two steps away from qualifying for the main tournament of the year, losing first to SG e-sports and then to Team Unknown.
Juan later managed to lead Infinity Esports back to the first division, after which Thunder Awaken became interested in the qualified coach. Vintage accepted the invitation, which allowed him to work with the best players in South America. Under Vintage's guidance, the team placed 5th-6th at ESL One Stockholm 2022 and then qualified for the PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022.
In December 2023 Vintage became the coach of BOOM Esports. Under his leadership, the team won several tier 2 tournaments, as well as took prizes at ESL One Malaysia 2022, The International 2022, Elite League 2024 and PGL Wallachia: Season 1.
In November 2024, Vintage became the coach of Beastcoast, which was soon acquired by the cybersports organization M80. At the tournament, the roster failed to advance beyond the group stage. After that, the team continued to participate in qualifiers for various tournaments and competed at FISSURE Universe Ep.4, but was eliminated in the early stages. Soon, the entire former M80 roster appeared under the new stack called Perrito Panzon. The team qualified for DreamLeague Season 26 and was soon signed by OG as their second Dota 2 roster under the tag OG LATAM. At DreamLeague, the team finished only in 15th-16th place.
Later, the esports player joined Peru Rejects, whose roster was signed by paiN Gaming in February 2026.
The first tournament for the updated roster was CCT Season 2 Series 8, where the team became champions after defeating 1Win Team 3:0 in the grand final.
At the end of March, the team placed 11-12 at ESL One Birmingham 2026, failing to reach the playoff stage.
Due to unsatisfactory results in April, the organization decided to suspend its Dota division and disband the roster.
However, the players decided to stay together and continued under the South American Rejects tag. In early May, the entire roster was signed by the PlayTime organization.
