Arif MSS Anwar is a professional American player of Bangladeshi descent, a veteran of North American Dota 2, who has played almost every position in his career.
He started his pro career in 2013 when he joined Fnatic.NA. Later MSS played as a substitute for Team Liquid, Dignitas and Evil Geniuses. After three months of playing for Evil Geniuses, MSS left the team for unknown reasons and played for various teams as a stand-in for a while before Team Dog signed mousesports. This lineup also did not last long and Arif again changed several teams and also substituted players at tournaments for other teams, including NaVi.NA.
In 2015, MSS moved to Cloud9. Due to the instability of the scene in the region, he constantly had to change teams. Until 2018, he managed to be in Shazam, Team NP, returned to Cloud9, left to Digital Chaos, and joined Immortals.
At the end of August 2018, he became one of the members of the Quincy Crew lineup, which was later signed by Forward Gaming. During this period, MSS moved up to the fourth position.
Achievements between 2013 and 2019 include a win at GESC: Thailand Dota2 Minor, second place at MDL Changsha Major, and participation at four The Internationals. And for 2020 and 2021 alone, MSS has placed first at ten online tournaments, including Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season 2 - North America: Upper Division, ESL One Thailand 2020: Americas and ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online.
