Valve have released the "Crown Fall" story event

On the night of April 18-19, Dota 2 released the long-awaited update called "Crown Fall", with which the game added two new Arcana sets on Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit, as well as a story event in 4 acts.

For now, players can only access the first act, called "The Markets of Midgate" which is an interactive map with multiple points of interest, like the Candy Caravan, an analog of the Candy Shop from Battle Pass 2022. To progress through the event map players must collect tokens by playing certain characters, much like Battle Pass' earlier Catacombs. As players progress through the first act, they can earn various rewards, including sets of two new treasure chests, an immortal item for Riki, and a new set on the Invoker with four styles.

The developers haven`t yet to officially announce the start and end dates for the subsequent acts of the event, but data-mainers have extracted a tentative timeline for the event from the game's data:

• Act 1: April 16 - May 14;
• Act 2: May 14 - June 11;
• Act 3: June 11 - July 9;
• Act 4: July 9 - August 6.
