Valve banned ʚKKKɞ, the top 1 Chinese ladder player

A player with the nickname ʚKKKɞ who was ranked #1 in the Chinese ladder has received a VAC ban. On DotaBuff the player is still listed as the leader of the ranking, but on the official Dota 2 website ʚKKɞ has already been removed from the list.

On the night of February 9, Valve released an update for Chinese New Year. In addition to in-game changes, the developers also improved the cheat detection system and conducted a major sweep of third-party software users. For example, based on Steam ʚKKɞ. players accused it of cheating back in 2021.

In addition to regular players, professionals were also hit. Lefitan, Limitless, asdekor_r, lupsione, Mariachi, Hell's Paradise, Zenitsu, and others received VAC bans. The most common reason for blocking was the use of third-party software OVERPLUS, a popular skinchanger. But in addition to this function, it also allows you to see the peak history of the enemy team's players, which can give you an advantage at the draft stage. But of course this is not the only program for which users got banned. Natus Vincere's manager, Zhanna Radiactivebaby, wrote on Telegram that many players were banned for Melonity, a script that gave a big advantage to the cheater in the form of auto-cast skins and huge camera distances.

As Cyberscore.live previously reported, Valve released an update for Chinese New Year.
