Roar Gaming qualified for PGL Wallachia Season 6 — the team's support was previously banned for 322
The Chinese roster Roar Gaming won the closed qualifiers for the upcoming PGL Wallachia Season 6. In the match for a tournament slot, the team defeated Tearlaments 3:2.
Only 4 teams participated in the qualifiers for the Chinese region. Despite a tough victory in the grand final, Tearlaments knocked Roar into the lower bracket, beating them 2:0 in the semifinal.
It should be noted that Roar Gaming support Tang Salad Xiaolei, who previously played in the rosters of Newbee and EHOME, was banned for matchfixing and suspended from Valve tournaments.
In March 2023, he was added to Valve’s list and received a 2-year ban, which also applied to all players of that EHOME roster, after which the organization left the Dota 2 scene. Two years later, in March 2025, the sanctions expired, and Salad is now eligible to compete on the pro scene again.
