Esports Nations Cup 2026: Details of the Dota 2 championship have been announced

The Dota 2 competition as part of the Esports Nations Cup 2026 will take place from 02.11.2026 to 08.11.2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 32 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,500,000. The announcement was published on the official website of the event.

Eighteen teams will receive direct invites to the tournament, including two Wildcard slots. Another 14 teams will advance to the championship through qualifiers, which will take place from 16.06.2026 to 05.07.2026.

The group stage of the tournament will be played in a round-robin format with four groups of eight teams. The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs with a single-elimination bracket.

More than 200 countries and dependent territories will be able to participate in the championship, represented by national teams and players who meet the established eligibility criteria.

As previously reported by CyberScore, the Esports Nations Cup 2026 has restricted the participation of the Russian and Belarusian national teams.
