Pipe
Pipe is the shortened name for the Pipe of Insight item in Dota 2. When the item was transferred from Dota to Dota 2, its name was simplified from Khadgar's Pipe of Insight to Pipe of Insight. Khadgar is the name of a character from the Warcraft universe.
The artifact provides team protection against magic damage: the active ability creates a barrier on allies, and the passive aura increases the magic resistance of all allies within range. It is often purchased by offlaners and supports to protect the team from strong enemy magic damage.
