F9 (pause)
F9 is the hotkey for pause in Dota 2, and it’s the default setting in the game. When pressed, the game is temporarily halted, and all actions stop until the pause is lifted. This feature is used to stop the match for a short time to handle technical issues, communicate with teammates, or address other unexpected situations. Frequent pauses can annoy other players and disrupt the flow of the match. Additionally, some players use pauses for taunting or trying to tilt their opponents.
