What is Blink?

Blink is an action of instantly moving a hero over a certain distance. In most cases, the word "blink" refers to the Blink Dagger item, which allows teleportation to a targeted location.

However, blink is not only an item but also a type of movement that can be performed using abilities of certain heroes, such as Anti-Mage or Queen of Pain. Blink is used to initiate fights, escape from danger, or move quickly across the map. Some abilities, like Tinker’s Warp Flare with a shard, force the enemy to blink away from the caster by a distance equal to the ability’s current cast range plus 100 units.
