Illuminational Dota 2 Major is a tournament from the organizer Cardigans Gaming for teams from the CIS. Within the event twelve teams will compete for a prize pool of 3 thousand dollars.
Participants:
- Twelve teams;
- Eight invited teams;
- Two teams winners of Illuminational Dota 2 Challenger;
- Two teams from Open Qualification.
Group Stage - 12.08.2024 - 19.08.2024:
- Two groups of six teams each;
- single round-robin;
- all Bo2 matches;
- 1st and 2nd place teams advance to the top bracket;
- 3rd and 4th place teams go to the lower bracket;
- the remaining teams are eliminated.
The following rules apply if the teams are tied:
- Head-to-head results;
- Number of wins with the score 2:0;
- 1v1 game.
Playoffs - 21.08.2024 - 26.08.2024:
- Double-elimination bracket;
- Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3.
