Tournament GEMS Women Circuit Tour 1

GEMS Women Circuit Tour 1  - is a tournament for women's Dota 2 squads organized by Chompix Gaming.

Participants:

• ten invited teams.

Group Stage: - 18.09.2023 - 11.10.2023

• two round robin groups of five teams each;
• all matches are Bo2;
• 2–0 awards winner 3 points;
• 1–1 awards both teams 1 point;
• top four teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs;
• bottom team from each group are eliminated.

Tiebreaker:

If there is a tie in these situations, tiebreaker matches will be played:

• two-way tie: Bo3;
• three-way or more tie: Bo1 round-robin, max two rounds;
• four-way tie: Bo1 GSL;
• five-way tie: Bo1 round-robin, require two days to play.

For ties that are not resolved via tiebreakers, the following metrics will be used to seed the teams:

1. Head-to-head;
2. Map score;
3. Result against the tied teams’ next lowest ranked team;
4. Comparative results against each team from the top down;
5. Coin toss.

Playoffs: - 16.10.2023 - 22.11.2023

• eight teams play in a double-elimination bracket;
• all other matches are Bo3.
