History

Carstensz is a professional team from Southeast Asia, founded in 2023.

The original lineup looked like this: Cije, Pota2, Candyloon, Dalul and TraVins. The guys immediately went to qualify for Dota Pro Circuit 2023, but failed. And a little later, they tried to qualify for ESL One Kuala Lumpur.

In 2024, Carstensz introduced a new roster for the qualifiers at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, which included Kempo, MadMaid, Mich, Schrödinger and BladeMoose. Later, periodically changing players, the team took part in the qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22, ESL One Birmingham 2024, Elite League 2024, DreamLeague Season 23 and PGL Wallachia Season 1, but failed to qualify for any of the tournaments.

Closer to summer, the team went to qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024, but unfortunately repeated the fate of all previous attempts.

On January 2, 2026, Wong ChuaN Hok left Neon Esports and was appointed as the new head coach of Carstensz Esports.
